From May to November, the mighty humpbacks cruise along Australia’s east coast on their annual migration - nicknamed the ‘Humpback Highway’. 

They’re swapping the icy Antarctic for warmer waters to the north to mate, give birth and show off those iconic tail flicks 💦

@visitnsw’s peak whale-watching season? Late June through July! Keep your eyes peeled for these gentle giants gliding past Wollongong over the next few months.
