Your journey starts from a choice of railway stations in the Sydney Metropolitan area and traverses the beautiful South Coast line, heading through the Royal National Park along the way and on to the seaside town of Kiama.
Hauling the Kiama Picnic Train™ will be locomotive 5917, built by Baldwin (USA) entering service in 1953 for the NSW Government Railways.
After arrival at Kiama, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the many charms of this picturesque coastal town. Take a walk up to the famous Kiama Blowhole, relax at the Surf Beach or browse the Historic Terrace Houses.
