Providing a relaxed urban setting to meet with friends and family, and boasting an impressive al fresco space, The Social is a unique café and bar at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, home of Merrigong Theatre Company, in the heart of Wollongong’s vibrant Arts Precinct.
Choose from a café menu of tasty breakfast items, salads and sandwiches, substantial meals, sweet treats, and their delicious coffee blend from Seven Miles – The Cat’s Pyjamas.
Visitors to the Centre can relax and enjoy the sophisticated selection of international beers and wines available from the bar menu.
Theatre patrons can enjoy pre-theatre dining options, as well as pre-performance drinks with two bars servicing the Bruce Gordon and IMB Theatres.
Weekends: Closed; Only open if there is a show on, at least one hour prior to show time.
