Enjoy a family-friendly ride around Lake Illawarra, starting at Reddall Park for a picnic. Follow the shared path along Windang Bridge, navigate a challenging section with roundabouts and a freeway parallel, then return lakeside on Kanahooka Rd for stunning views. Complete the loop through quieter roads and residential streets, ending with a scenic shared path back to the starting point

Explore the 2022 UCI Road World Championships highlights from Helensburgh. Descend to Bald Hill lookout, ride the Sea Cliff Bridge, and navigate the rolling hills to Wollongong city. Tackle a challenging climb (7.9km, 465m, 5.2% gradient), enjoy the escarpment ridge, and descend Mt Kembla. Pass Nan Tien Temple, climb Mt Keira, explore Wollongong’s highlights, and then head north for the UCI city circuit, including the challenging Ramah Avenue (1.1km, 119m, 7.7% gradient).

Here you have the choice of staying on the concrete path a little inland via Innovation Campus or enjoying the gravel tracks and boardwalks of Puckey’s Estate. Lob into North Wollongong and the harbour for plenty of beachside dining options like Diggies and Levendi or continue to complete the stunning Flagstaff Hill loop.
